Scott Frankenberger: More than Meets the Eye

The unique ceramics of contemporary artist Scott Frankenberger are a mainstay in the Lafayette community—often exhibited at local venues and art sales. However, this exhibition lives up to its name as Haan Ceramics Curator Beth Bridge presents pieces of Scott’s that are unlike those most know and love. As explained by Beth, “I’ve chosen works by Scott that surprised me, made me question his ideas, his techniques. These pieces show there is more than meets the eye with Scott Frankenberger.”  In this exhibit, discover works you’ve never seen before—from the playful to the poetic. Explore form, texture, and mark making on objects both functional and decorative, displayed in the historic Haan Mansion.
